Below are the reading words that your child will be introduced to during the school year. Each year the lists will vary according to the words introduced during our reading. Below are the word lists for the 2007-08 year.

Print either one or two sets of the word cards, cut them apart and review words with your child. They should become proficient enough to be able to read each word card within 5 seconds without sounding out the word.

Your child should be encouraged to locate these words in other books that they read with you.

You can vary the way your child practices their sight words by playing such games as Memory Game, Guess My Word, Go Fish, Old Maid, and Hang Man using the word cards below.
