Students flip their card when they do not follow the rules. This is a school wide discipline plan.
Check folder for weekly behavior chart and a behavior report if your child flipped their card.

For the 2011-2012, I will be trying something new along with colored flip cards. There will be a warning card. I give students verbally warnings all the time before I flip their card. Most of the time students correct their behavior. However if a student receives multiple verbal warnings throughout the school year, parents are unaware of their child's behavior. Students will use the warning card whenever I give them a verbal warning, and the next time a student is not following the rules, he/she will flip their card. If a child only receives one warning for that day, the child will make a green W on their weekly behavior chart. The child will still earn their cat cash for the day. I will not send a note home unless I feel it is necessary. |
