First Grade

Farm Field Trip

October 10, 2007

Farmer Bridget was our leader for the day.  She taught us a lot of neat things about the farm. Some of the students pretended to be parts of a plant:  a seed, a root, a stem, leaves, and a flower.  We got to pick some pumpkins and take two for our classroom.  We enjoyed feeding the goats, a sheep, pigs, cows, and horses.  The students were able to milk a goat.  We also took a hike and looked for seeds.  They went into the hen house and found eggs to put in the basket.  The students ended with an enjoyable time playing in the hay stacks.

Here are some more pictures.

We had a fun time at the farm.  We hope you enjoyed our pictures.
